The Things They Carried se separa 'temporalmente'

The Things They Carried ha anunciado su 'separación temporal', o como muchos lo llaman un Hiato indefinido' dado a problemas finacieros y emocionales. sin más que agradecer a sus seguidores y discográfica, la banda ha dado el siguiente comunicado:

Being in a band is nothing short of incredible for the 4 of us. We've met so many amazing people along the way, we've toured most of the country multiple times, we shared the stage with so many amazing artists who we're glad to call friends now. We signed to a caring label who gave us an EP we will always be truly proud of. We built a great team behind us and established an army of fans.

But it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing an indefinite hiatus. Though these last few years have been nothing short of amazing, eventually all the work we were doing has taken a toll greater than our capability alone. Going forward financially and emotionally it has become more and more difficult to continue, and after doing a lot of thinking, we realized we needed to go our separate ways as a band.

Thank you to all our beautiful fans for supporting us during these years. Because of you, we got to experience some incredible highs as a band. You also helped us try to beat those incredible lows, and we love you for everything you are to us. For those of you who planned on seeing us this fall, we sincerely apologize, and it breaks our hearts that we have to do this to you, but for now, we say goodbye.
