Entrevista a Francisco Carrasco de "Sumission"

Sumission es una banda procedente de Chile el cual se caracteriza por hacer un Deathcore Cristiano, con brutalidad y cristianismo a la vez nos han propuesto temas muy agradables y exquisitos, donde nos habla acerca de la escena Chilena, sus objetivos como banda y cada reto que han superado para llegar a lo alto. Ya saben solo por Atasque.

-Para iniciar, quiero que me hables sobre el nombre de la banda, porque eligieron "Sumission"?
La verdad que es un juego de palabras es una idea de ser sumisos y además hacer una misión  claramente es por nuestra creencia en Dios y hacemos esto en forma de adoración  y mostrando una parte de nuestra experiencia con él.

-Cuéntame, cómo empezaste con la música, que te motivó a crear la banda?
Para mí la música empezó desde muy pequeño y creo yo que todos que amamos la música y la disfrutamos sonamos con formar algún día una banda.

-Cuando creaste la banda tuviste alguna clase de apoyo con respecto a tu familia, amigos y demás personas para lograr tus metas?
Yo anteriormente forme mi primera banda EUNICE también con amigos de niñez la cual grabamos un EP y fue una buena experiencia para crecer y tomar el verdadero peso que es tener una banda y eso me ayudo a hacer mejor este proyecto que es SUMISSION con una propuesta clara y mucho más madura. En cuanto al apoyo siempre he tenido el apoyo de mi familia y amigos en esto que es mi pasión, mi esposa y la iglesia que formo parte también han sido de mucho apoyo y sabemos que Dios nos respalda en todo momento.

-Cual fue el primer tema de la banda y que los inspiró para escribir la canción?
ADONAI esa fue una rola que el anterior guitarrista tenia guardada y nosotros le quitamos el polvo dando forma a nuestro single y espesamos todo nuestro sentir en esta canción.

-Con qué banda te identificas personalmente?
AUGUST BURNS RED me identifica por sus letras y musicalmente son creo yo unos de los mejores exponentes del género y además me llego el testimonio de Jake Luhrs el vocalista que al igual que yo venía de una vida de excesos y con un vació que no podía llenar con nada encontrando esa plenitud espiritual en Dios.

-Cuáles han sido los obstáculos y los sacrificios de los integrantes de la banda para lograr los objetivos propuestos?
Ya que estamos en país que el género musical metal/core/death/post/djent,etc no es muy apoyada es prácticamente todo autogestión y eso es un sacrificio económico para todos los músicos de este país y creo yo en toda Latinoamérica  pero amamos tanto esto que gracias al apoyo de los seguidores y los mismos músicos apoyándonos unos a otros logramos hacer cosas de muy buena calidad a pesar de los impedimentos y eso le da un valor incalculable.

-Hay alguna anécdota o historia acerca de la banda que nos quieras contar?
Hace poco tuvimos un viaje a fuera de Santiago la región donde vivimos hacia la parte sur de Chile y fue realmente hermoso conectarnos con lo natural y además tuvimos un recibimiento extremo de parte de los chicos que asistieron al show dejando literalmente la destrucción jajaja y eso fue grandioso.

-Hablando sobre el futuro de la banda, tienen algún proyecto?
Tenemos varios como primer logro queremos grabar nuestro material para después grabar nuestro vídeo, también nos gustaría salir al extranjero ya que tenemos muchos amigos de afuera gracias a Dios y nos apoyan a través de Internet y sería una muy buena experiencia tocar en distintos lugares.

-Al escribir las canciones cual es el mensaje en especial que les transmites a tus seguidores?
Mira la verdad que trato solamente demostrar el amor y justicia de Dios en todo los sentidos no trato de imponer nada a nadie no critico ni juzgo a las personas que no creen en lo mismo que yo eso es decisión propia y Dios habla al corazón,  además el que quiera escuchar o saber que queremos expresar o que tenga dudas de nuestra creencia estamos abiertos a conversar y compartir nuestro pensar y sentir a quien lo necesite.

-Cuéntanos, en el futuro con que bandas les gustaría tocar?
Seria genial tocar con August Burns Red, Impending Doom o For Today que son bandas las cuales nos influencian musicalmente como también en nuestro pensar, pero la verdad es que nos gustaría tocar y salir a cualquier parte del mundo haciendo lo que más nos gusta.

-Qué piensas acerca de la escena Chilena, crees que podrían mejorar algunas cosas y cómo?
Creo que ha mejorado mucho en muy pocos años en cuanto a lo musical ya que se han atrevido a hacer cosas de nivel mundial en cuanto al Metal y Hardcore también en los shows se ha puesto mucha perseverancia aunque en escenas muy pequeñas pero con mucho aguante.

-Cuál es el tema favorito de la banda y cuál es el significado para ellos?
Es un tema nuevo llamado Mártir y la verdad es que la letra muestra toda la entrega que Cristo hizo por nosotros y además nos gusta ya que con este tema evolucionamos en nuestra propuesta de hacer la mezcla Metalcore con Secuencias  algo más moderno y muy agradable para la gente.

-Para concluir con la entrevista, que mensaje le enviarías a todos tus seguidores de Latinoamérica?
Hagan lo que hagan no dejen que sus sueños caigan y sean olvidados perseveren en lo que les gusta, perseveren en lo que creen y que nada ni nadie les diga que no es posible porque todo es posible si lo quieres de corazón... AGUANTE LATINOAMERICA  HARDCORE / METAL!!! Apoyémonos los unos con otros y seamos uno…

-To start, I want you to tell me the name of the band, because they chose "Sumission"? 
The truth is that a pun is an idea of being submissive and also make a clear mission is our belief in God and we do this in the form of worship and showing a part of our experience with it.

-Tell me, how did you start with music, you motivated to create the band? 
For me the music started very young and I believe that all who love music and enjoyed rang to form a band someday.

-When you created the band had some kind of support with regard to your family, friends and other people to achieve your goals? 
I formed my first band above EUNICE also childhood friends which recorded an EP and a good experience to grow and take the real weight is to have a band and that helped me make this project better is SUMISSION with a clear proposal and more mature. As for the support I have always had the support of my family and friends that this is my passion, my wife and the church to which I belong have also been very supportive and know that God supports us at all times.

-What was the first song of the band that inspired to write the song?
ADONAI that was a song that had saved the former guitarist and we will remove dust shaping our single and add all our feelings in this song.

-Which side do you identify yourself? 
AUGUST BURNS RED identifies me by his lyrics and musically I think are some of the best exponents of the genre and I also get the assurance of vocalist Jake Luhrs that as I came from a life of excess and a void that could not fill anything that finding spiritual fulfillment in God.

-What have been the obstacles and sacrifices of the members of the band to achieve the objectives?
Since we are in the country music genre metal / core / death / post / etc djent is not supported is practically all self and that is a financial sacrifice for all musicians in this country and I believe in all of Latin America but we love this so much thanks to the support of the fans and musicians themselves supporting each other we do things very good quality despite the impediments and that gives invaluable.

-There is an anecdote or story about the band you want to tell us? 
Recently had a trip out of Santiago the region where we live to the southern part of Chile and was really beautiful to connect with nature and also had one end hosting of the boys who attended the show literally leaving lol destruction and that it was great.

-Talking about the future of the band have any plans? 
We have several as we record our first achievement after recording material for our video, we would like to go abroad as we have many friends outside thanks to God and support us through the Internet and it would be a very good experience to play in different places.

When writing songs, which is the particular message you convey them to your followers?
See the truth that only treatment to demonstrate the love and justice of God in every sense not trying to impose anything on anyone not criticize or judge people who do not believe as I do that's their own decision and God speaks to the heart, as well who will listen or want to know that you have questions or express our belief we are open to talk and share our thoughts and feelings to anyone in need.

-Tell us in the future with that band would like to play? 
It would be great to play with August Burns Red, Impending Doom or Fortoday which are bands that influence us musically as well as in our thinking, but the truth is that we like to play and go anywhere in the world doing what we like.

-Do you think about the Chilean scene, you think some things could be improved and how? 
I think it has improved a lot in a few years as to what musical because they have dared to do things in the world as to Metal and Hardcore also at shows has been a lot of perseverance even in very small scenes but with a lot of stamina.

-What is the favorite song of the band and what is the meaning for them? 
It is a new song called Martyr and the truth is that the letter shows all delivery Christ did for us and also we like since this topic evolved in our proposal to the Metalcore mixed with something more modern sequences and very pleasant to the people.

-To conclude the interview, what message would you send to all your followers in Latin America? 
Whatever you do do not let your dreams fall and are forgotten persevere in what they like, persevere in what they believe and anything or anyone tell you that is not possible because anything is possible if you want it to heart ...
