Con un grandisimo álbum debut, lleno de letras soberbias y tonadas sabrosisimas Go Forth se presenta como una de las sorpresas de este 2013, una banda que profesa hardcore melódico de calidad en cada una de sus canciones.
A propósito del lanzamiento del álbum debut, Max Gouldner (vocalista) nos concedió una entrevista hace un par de semanas:

DaniHxC: Cuales fueron las bandas que te inspiraron para formar "Go Forth"?
Max Gouldner: Misery Signals, Shai Hulud y Life In Your Way
DaniHxC: Hay algun significado implicito en el nombre de la banda?
Max Gouldner: Es uno positivo, significa ir hacia adelante y progresar en la vida como persona. Superar obstaculos en tu propio camino.
DaniHxC: Como fue la experiencia de firmar con una discográfica reconocida?
Max Gouldner: La experiencia fue extraordinaria. De ser una banda con pocos seguidores a ser una con fans en todo el mundo, es sinceramente un orgullo, y no podríamos estar más agradecidos de tener la oportunidad de trabajar con "We Are Triumphant"
DaniHxC: Podrías contarme cuales son los aspectos que hacen a tu música ser diferente, y digna de ser escuchada?
Max Gouldner: Nosotros creemos que estamos dando una mezcla única de hardcore melódico, con letras apasionadas que realmente significan algo, considero que esa es la razón por la que le gustamos a la gente, por la emoción cruda.
DaniHxC: Cuales han sido las influencias de tu sonido?
Max Gouldner: Principalmente cualquier banda desde "The Smiths" hasta "Merauder". Nuestras influencias están en todo el tablero.
DaniHxC: Además de Hardcore y Metal, escuchas algún otro genero?
Max Gouldner: Escucho practicamente de todo: rap, indie rock, jazz, blues, etc.
DaniHxC: Desde el lanzamiento de "mindful" que tal ha sido la recepción del álbum, ha satisfecho tus expectativas?
Max Gouldner: La acogida de "mindful" ha sido buena hasta el momento, pero sentimos que este álbum fue tan solo el primer paso hacia el encuentro de nuestro verdadero sonido.
DaniHxC: Alguna vez haz tocado en el extranjero? si no lo haz hecho, que países te gustaría visitar?
Max Gouldner: Aun no hemos tocado por fuera del país, pero nos gustaría visitar Europa y Australia, también Sudamérica, Tailandia, a cualquier lugar en el que tengan el deseo de vernos tocar.
DaniHxC: Y para terminar, cuales son los planes para la banda en el corto y el largo plazo?
Max Gouldner: En el corto plazo, enfocarme en este tour, tocar bien y divertirme, en el largo plazo escribir otro álbum que sea cien veces mejor que "Mindful" y recorrer el mundo.

Max Gouldner: Misery signals, shai hulud, life in your way.
DaniHxC: Is there any meaning behind the band´s name?
Max Gouldner: It's a positive one. Meaning to go forth and progress through life as a person. Overcoming obstacles in your way
DaniHxC: How was the experience of being signed by a renowned label?
Max Gouldner: The experience is amazing. From being a band with a small following to one that has fans all over the world now, it's honestly humbling and we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to work with we are triumphant.
DaniHxC: Can you tell me, what are the aspects that make your music different, and worth to be listened?
Max Gouldner: We believe we bring a very unique blend of melodic hardcore, with passionate lyrics that actually mean something. I believe that's why people like us, because of the raw emotion
DaniHxC: Which have been the influences of your sound?
Max Gouldner: Pretty much any bands from the smiths to merauder. Our influences are all across the board
DaniHxC: Besides hardcore and metal music, do you guys to any other genre?
Max Gouldner: We all listen to everything pretty much. Rap, indie rock, blues, jazz, etc.
DaniHxC: Since the release of “Mindfull" how has been the reception of the album so far, do you think it has satisfied your expectations?
Max Gouldner: The reception of mindful has been great so far but we feel as though this album was just a stepping stone in finding our true sound.
DaniHxC: Have you guys performed abroad? If not, what countries would you like to visit?
Max Gouldner: We haven't been abroad yet but we'd love to visit Europe and Australia, as well as South America, Thailand, anywhere there's people who would like to see us perform.
DaniHxC: And to finish, what are the plans for the band in the short and long term?
Max Gouldner: The short term, to focus on this tour and play it well and have fun, and for the long term to write another album that'll be 100x better than mindful and tour the world!
